Key responsibilities:
Administer and support Linux and Windows server environments (production and staging).
Manage local (on-premise) and cloud servers, ensuring availability, high performance, and cybersecurity.
Handle cloud users, accounts, and subscriptions (access control, resource organization, and cost control).
Monitor system health, logs, and alerts; respond to incidents and service degradations.
Perform patch management, system updates, and OS security hardening.
Manage user access, permissions, and basic identity services.
Execute and regularly verify backup and recovery procedures.
Participate in monitoring, alerting, and backup operations as part of a professional SRE / SysOps team.
Support disaster recovery planning and testing.
Collaborate with Engineering and Infrastructure teams regarding production readiness and resource health.
Maintain clear operational documentation, runbooks, and standards.
Participate in incident investigations with root cause analysis (RCA) and actionable remediation plans.
Interact with security teams when compliance or security requirements impact operations.
What we expect from you:
Hands-on experience with Linux administration (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, Debian).
Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS are a plus).
Experience working with containerization or orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Basic scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, or Python).
Experience with technical support processes (professional or personal).
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, routing basics).
Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical thinking; a calm and structured approach under high-pressure situations and time constraints.
Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency (B2+, written and spoken).
Responsibility, reliability, and schedule flexibility, including readiness for rotational and night shifts.
Will be a plus:
Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Terraform).
Experience supporting production environments with uptime and performance requirements.
Experience managing hybrid (on-premise and cloud) infrastructure.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Zabbix, etc.).
Ability to write clear technical documentation and runbooks.
